Return Policy

At Fort St. George, each creation is thoughtfully crafted with exceptional attention to detail, fine craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality standards. As our garments are produced in limited quantities and are often made to order, we do not offer returns. However, in rare circumstances involving a verified manufacturing defect, an exchange may be considered under the following terms:

QUALITY & MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

Every Fort St. George garment undergoes a meticulous quality inspection before it leaves our studio. In the unlikely event that you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or damage, kindly write to us at [your email] within 7 days of receiving your order, along with your order details and clear images of the concern.

Upon receipt of your request, our team will carefully review the garment. If the defect is confirmed and the exchange request is approved, you will receive a confirmation via email.

All garments sent back for review must be unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in their original packaging with all tags intact. Items showing signs of wear, alterations, damage, or improper handling will not qualify for exchange.

Once approved, we will recreate and dispatch the same garment within 14–21 working days, subject to craftsmanship timelines and material availability.

SHIPPING & EXCHANGE PROCESS

Shipping charges related to exchanges shall be borne by the customer. For international orders, all shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and applicable import charges in both directions remain the responsibility of the client.

If returning a garment via courier or post, kindly email us at [your email] with your name, order number, contact information, reason for exchange, courier partner, and tracking details.

Fort St. George cannot be held responsible for parcels delayed, lost in transit, damaged during shipping, or held by customs authorities.

BESPOKE & MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES

All bespoke, personalised, altered, embroidered, made-to-measure, and special-order garments are final sale and are strictly excluded from this exchange policy.

Fort St. George reserves the right to decline any exchange request that does not meet the above conditions.
